I am a so called web worker, and I spend most of my daily time sitting in front of a computer screen. With this job and by eating what you get on the run (pizza,doner,hampurger,french fries ..) my weight icreased over the years.
I am not fat, but I started hitting the 100 kg limit more and more often.
Than I observed my wife loosing 12 kg's in 2 Month just by changing the things she's eating according to the instructions in a book I had unattended in my bookshelf for some years: Michel Montignacs "French Diet". I think the term diet is a bit missleading in the title of this book, cause Michel Motignacs Method is not limiting you by the amount of food or by the calories you eat. It's working by a smart selection of what you eat. Having the movie "supersize me" still in my mind, in which Morgan Spurlock gained weight by limiting himself to fast food, I thougt maybe eating to the concept of French diet could have the opposite effect.
For an additional self motivation I registerd the domain superslim.me and decided to blog about my self experiment.
